Sariska Tiger Reserve, located in Alwar district of Rajasthan, India has two main entry gates that are Sariska gate and Tehla gate. Here are the differences between those two:

Location:

Sariska Gate:This gate is on the northern end of Sariska Tiger Reserve nearer to Alwar town. It provides access to the central and northern parts of the reserve.

Tehla Gate: Tehla village is situated near Tehla gate which is at the southern end of Sariska Tiger Reserve. It provides access to the southern and southeastern parts of the reserve.

Accessibility:

Sariska Gate From Alwar city it is more accessible and therefore this might be a preferred point for entering by those people who are coming from that direction.

Tehla GateThis gate is easily accessed by visitors from areas southward especially.

Wildlife Viewing Opportunities:

Sariska Gate The area around this door can have several sightings of tigers or other wildlife. In general, it has been observed that this part has good terrain for viewing wild animals.

Tehla GateDespite some possibility of wildlife sighted through this door, there may be different species available to see or experience a variety of landscapes in the reserve.

Safari Routes:

Sariska Gate From Sariska gate, the safari routes tend to cover areas with a higher possibility of tiger sightings. It could give a more conventional safari experience.

Tehla GateSafari routes from Tehla gate may cover various parts of the sanctuary thereby giving visitors a spectrum of experiences and animal encounters.
