About Sariska National Park
Sariska covers roughly 881 sq km of dry deciduous forest and rugged Aravalli hills near Alwar, Rajasthan, about 200 km from Delhi and 110 km from Jaipur. It blends wildlife and history — you drive past 10th-century temple ruins and hilltop forts while watching for leopards and tigers.
Wildlife You’ll See
- Big cats: Royal Bengal Tiger and Indian Leopard.
- Other predators: Striped Hyena, Jackal, Jungle Cat.
- Herbivores: Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Wild Boar.
- Birds: 200+ species, including a high density of peafowl.
